WE ARE ALL IN.
SEPTEMBER 23, 2023
On Saturday, September 23, our BMO Ride community will come together with one common goal: to transform local cancer care here at home. This year, we’re going to be bolder than ever before…our BMO Ride for Cancer community is all in! Together, we’ll fully fund and establish Atlantic Canada’s first-ever CAR-T therapy lab. This revolutionary and lifesaving immunotherapy is a final lifeline and potential cure for certain blood cancer patients who’ve tried all other treatment options.

HELP FUND A WORLD’S FIRST CANCER-FIGHTING TECHNOLOGY
In 2022, our BMO Ride for Cancer community is all in. Together, we’ll fund a world’s first cancer-fighting technology, called personalized radiotherapy, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Researchers right here in Nova Scotia at the QEII are working on this technology, which has the potential to transform the radiation treatment journeys for Atlantic Canadians facing a cancer diagnosis.
World-leading innovation and inventions are exciting. But the real impact is on QEII patients, who will have the potential to access one of the most precise and targeted treatment options available; game-changing care that isn’t offered anywhere else in Canada.
The goal? Fewer radiation treatments, better cancer outcomes, reduced side effects, more time at home with family, and reduced financial burden on patients and the healthcare system are all benefits our BMO Ride community have the potential to help make possible.
This project will be entirely donor-funded through BMO Ride for Cancer and the QEII Foundation. It will truly take an army of supporters – including riders, donors, community partners and more – to bring this world-leading project to the finish line. Learn more >
