Garrison Brewing Co. Beer & Soda Fundraising Campaign

Garrison Brewing Co. Beer & Soda Fundraising Campaign

Our community partner, Garrison Brewing Co., is helping our BMO Ride participants level up their fundraising efforts. Garrison Brewing Co. is launching TWO custom-branded, limited-edition products – with a portion of the proceeds being donated to BMO Ride for Cancer.

Introducing Limited Edition & Release Face the Fight Against Cancer Ale and Ginger Lime Craft Soda!

  • $5 from every 6-pack limited-edition Face the Fight Against Cancer Ale ($26.99)
  • $2.50 from every 6-pack limited-edition Face the Fight Against Cancer Soda ($15.00)

This partnership with Garrison Brewing Co. is their commitment to giving back, supporting local cancer care, and rallying behind our BMO Ride community in a big way.

BMO Ride for Cancer rallies people together to advance cancer care for our communities. The community has been integral to our mission at Garrison from the very beginning. We designed our local craft beer around the community – creating something from home that people could be proud of. We’re so proud to join forces with BMO Ride to help bring cancer care to the next level for our communities in Atlantic Canada,” says Brian Titus, Owner of Garrison Brewing Co.

HOW THE BMO PARTICIPANT FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN WORKS:

  • The limited-edition pale ale and soda are for pre-sale purchase on Garrison’s website:
Face the Fight Against Cancer Ale: https://garrison-brewing.myshopify.com/products/face-the-fight-six-47ml-cans
Face the Fight Against Cancer Ginger Lime Craft Soda: https://garrison-brewing.myshopify.com/products/seaport-soda-ginger-lime-6-x355ml
  • BMO Ride participants who are 19 years of age and older can purchase and promote both the limited-edition pale ale and soda (non-alcoholic) to their networks, with proceeds being directed to their individual fundraising pages at the end of the campaign
  • BMO Ride youth participants and individuals under the age of 19 can only purchase and promote the limited-edition ginger-lime soda (non-alcoholic)
  • Orders can be placed between June 1 – June 17, while quantities last
  • Pick-up is available at Garrison Brewing Co. Seaport location on June 20 & 21 only
  • Proceeds will not be applied to BMO Ride participants’ fundraising pages until after the campaign closes on June 21 and may take up to five business days. It will appear as one total contribution per BMO Ride participant

BMO RIDE PARTICIPANT CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Promote the beer and soda sales campaign responsibly only to individuals 19 years of age and older
  2. Promote the campaign with safe, responsible messaging
    1. Do not endorse the consumption of alcohol while riding a bike, driving a motor vehicle, operating any machinery, or engaging in any activity that requires concentration to avoid injury
  3. Promote both soda and beer campaigns to networks to ensure there are options for those who cannot or do not want to consume alcoholic beverages
  4. Promote the campaign to your networks using the suggested messaging and language provided by the Event
  5. Be transparent about the funds from the sales being donated back to your fundraising efforts and local cancer care ($5 per 6-pack of Face the Fight Against Cancer ale, $2.50 per 6-pack of soda)
  6. Promote the campaign as an opportunity to make an impact on local cancer care through the partnership with Garrison Brewing Co.
  1. Promote the soda campaign to your networks using the suggested messaging and language provided by the Event
  2. Be transparent about the funds from the sales being donated back to your fundraising efforts and local cancer care ($2.50 per 6-pack of soda)
  3. Promote the campaign as an opportunity to impact local cancer care through the partnership with Garrison Brewing Co.

RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION

  • We encourage our BMO Ride for Cancer participants and their networks to review Canada’s low-risk alcohol drinking guidelines to help reduce your long-term health risks. These are “low-risk” guidelines, not “no-risk” guidelines, as any amount of alcohol consumption can have risks to your overall health, including cancer
  • We’re proud to offer a non-alcoholic option – the Ginger Lime Craft Soda – to our youth participants and individuals who are abstaining from and limiting their alcohol consumption.
  • Drinking is a personal choice, and we encourage our BMO Ride community (who are 19 years of age and older) and their networks to make the choices and decisions that are the best for them
  • These guidelines are an excellent resource for those who drink and purchase the Limited Release Face the Fight Against Cancer Ale: https://novascotia.ca/dhw/addictions/documents/Canada-new-Low-Risk-Alcohol-Drinking-Guidelines.pdf
